111: Youth Musical Theatre for Ages 8-11

The "Musical Theatre" genre is the most popular form of theatre in America today. It's exciting, magical and the fun is contagious! Your young star will experience musical theatre through ensemble singing, movement, acting exercises and solo work to take their skills to the next level. Class will end with a final showcase for parents and friends.
We welcome disabled and neurodivergent children as well as those who are nondisabled.

152: Advanced Teen Musical Theatre for Ages 12-17

Take your skills to the next level! Step into a new world of performance preparation and motivation with this highly competitive course. This class will work on student's individual vocal performance and technique while enhancing their acting and showmanship skills. This class is perfect for students who plan on continuing their theatrical education at the collegiate or professional level.
Class will end in an informal showcase for friends and family to occur on the last day of class during classtime.

201A: Acting I, Intro to Acting

Even the great actors of our day had to start somewhere. It's time for YOU to begin your journey! Always wanted to act, but were too nervous or unsure of where to begin? Now is your chance to explore new techniques and enhance your skills in a comfortable and relaxed setting! Through theatre games, acting exercises, and scene work, you will gain confidence and an enriched understanding of the craft. Learn the vocabulary and techniques that every actor must know while meeting new people along the way!

202A: Musical Theatre Workshop

This class allows you to take your vocal skills to new octaves! Built for all ranges and skill levels, fine-tune your voice and practice in a fun and relaxed environment. Challenge yourself as you discover your strengths and expand on your abilities through lessons in showmanship, dictation, breathing, voice control and more.

221: Acting II, Intermediate Scene Study
with David Pica

Learn and discover the proper approach to scene work and character development by using what the playwright has given you on the page. Continue your self discovery as an artist while building your ability and vocabulary for further advanced study. Students will delve into one full-length scene throughout the semester utilizing theatre exercises, coaching from the instructor, and reading discussions to bring the scene to life.
250: Acting III, Advanced Performance

*Participation in 221: Acting II, Scene Study is recommended, but not required to join this class.* Above all, attendance is key for this class. This class is designed for the serious student who is able to rehearse with their scene partners outside of class. This intense scene-study course focuses on making strong choices toward discovering objective, taking risks, and living in the moment through rigorous and exhilarating personal coaching.

102: Kids Musical Theatre for Ages 5-7

Allow your young star to try something new and make new friends! Students will be introduced to theatrical concepts including character creation, tableaus, stage pictures, play structure, text and performance by exploring various theatre games, art projects, and more! This exciting class will end with a final showcase for friends and family to come explore all of the fun and hard work that was put into the semester!
