In the Development Division, beginner to intermediate campers are challenged to deepen their understanding of the craft through engaging classes and the production of a 30-minute scripted musical. More advanced classes cover a range of skills, including improvisation, acting techniques, audition coaching, vocal training, dance, stage movement, and on-camera techniques. This year, campers will showcase their talents on our historic mainstage.

We welcome students of all abilities, including those with disabilities and children who are developmentally typical.

Students interested in the Development Division must audition for admittance. Auditions will take place the week of May 12-16, with detailed information provided closer to that date.

Camp Walnut concludes for all students on July 31, 2025. Campers in the Development Division will have their public performance on August 2, 2025.
