Step into the spotlight and elevate your audition skills with Mastering the Audition: Practical Experience & Artistic Accountability. This immersive class is designed to provide actors with a realistic audition experience, simulating a professional environment with all the key components in place: a proctor, a waiting area, a casting director or director, a table, a chair, and a reader.
In this dynamic workshop, you will:
- Perform a Memorized Monologue: Bring a prepared monologue and receive hands-on practice in a simulated audition setting.
- Experience Realistic Audition Conditions: Navigate the audition process with professional feedback from a casting director, enhancing your confidence and presentation.
- Receive Constructive Criticism: Gain valuable insights through detailed feedback, helping you understand your strengths and areas for improvement.
- Learn Confidence-Boosting Tips: Discover strategies to make a memorable first impression and exude confidence in every audition scenario.
- Master Focus and Adaptability: Learn techniques for staying centered and focused on your objectives, and understand how to effectively respond to adjustments and direction.

220: Musical Theatre Dance (Drop In, 12/4)

It's time for you to become a triple threat! In this fast-moving class, students will work on different dance combinations to improve retention, technique and how to show personality through movement. Using popular musical theatre songs, this class will be both fun and enriching for students! This class will challenge you to strengthen your approach to movement both physically and mentally. Led with positivity and possibility, get ready to have great time!
Class will not meet the week of Thanksgiving (11/25-29).
102A: Kids Musical Theatre for Ages 5-7

Let your young star shine bright and embark on an exciting journey of creativity and friendship! In this dynamic class, students will dive into the thrilling world of theater, exploring everything from character creation and choreography to singing and performance. With a mix of engaging theater games, imaginative art projects, and catchy songs, they’ll unleash their inner artist! The adventure culminates in a fabulous final showcase, where family and friends can come celebrate all the fun and hard work that went into the semester!
We joyfully welcome all children, including those who are disabled, neurodivergent, and nondisabled.
Just a quick note: There will be no class on March 8 or 15.
111: Youth Musical Theatre for Ages 8-11

Step into the enchanting world of Musical Theatre, where the excitement is palpable and the fun is downright contagious! Your young star will embark on a thrilling adventure filled with ensemble singing, energetic movement, acting exercises, and solo performances that will take their skills to dazzling new heights!
We proudly welcome all children, embracing diversity with open arms for those who are disabled, neurodivergent, and nondisabled alike.
Just a quick reminder: There will be no class on March 8 or 15, but the excitement will culminate in a fantastic informal showcase for family and friends at the end!
And a little heads-up: If we have more than 20 students, we’ll split into two lively groups—introductory and intermediate—on the first day to ensure everyone shines in the spotlight!
115: Teen Acting for Ages 12-17

Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in our fun-filled course that dives into the fundamentals of becoming a dynamic young actor! Your star will unleash their creativity as they explore vocal and physical training, engage in thrilling theatre games, and dive into the world of improvisation. This exciting journey will not only enhance their skills but also boost their confidence and communication abilities on stage!
We warmly embrace all children, welcoming those who are disabled, neurodivergent, and nondisabled alike.
